I would like to know if this feature is currently being worked on. My school district has spent a considerable amount of time creating categories and uploading files. We have found that DocMan has the ability to notify admin when a file is uploaded, but we would have to re-create categories, reload files, etc
If you could please work on this notification feature, we would certainly appreciate it.
thank you.

Jan,
thank you very much for adding this feature. My next question is.. is there a way to preview the file prior to approval. I looked at the back end to see if I can open the file before approving/disapproving, but I don't see where I can do this. It makes sense that if the file is to be approved, it must be viewed in order to know if the content is appropriate.
thank you,
Jesse Pelayo

Jan,
thank you very much for adding this feature. For some reason I was NOT able to receive an "upload" notification, but I was able to receive a "download" notification. Is there something I'm missing? My next question is.. is there a way to preview the file prior to approval. I looked at the back end to see if I can open the file before approving/disapproving, but I don't see where I can do this. It makes sense that if the file is to be approved, it must be viewed in order to know if the content is appropriate.
thank you,
Jesse Pelayo

Hi, I am testing it and get mails from both actions
No there is no such option to open the file, this needs to be done after you will download it e.g. by ftp.
