All images in catagories are in 1 column

I am trying to get my Category Layouts to display multiple columns. My main Category List Layout displays 2 columns properly, but I cannot get any other pages to do so. I have changed the settings in Phoca control panel and in the settings for the menu item. They are both set to 2, but it still only displays one column. It cannot be a size issue as there is plenty of space. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

Hi, in Phoca Gallery, there is categories view - you can add columns there and category view - there are used float boxes, so if you need to set count of columns, it needs to be set specific way (e.g. to set fixed widht and set width of boxes -> Fixed width / boxes width = number of columns)

Jan,

Thank you very much for your assistance, but for some reason I am still not understanding. Where do I make these changes? Do I make these changes in the Phoca Gallery component, the properties of each Category Layout in the Menu Manager? Currently my Category List Layout displays two rows properly, but all of my Category Layouts only display one. I am sure I am simply overlooking something, but I can't seem to figure it out. I really appreciate your help!

CATEGORY LIST LAYOUT (working - 2 columns): http://kirkshardwoodfloors.com/index.ph ... s&Itemid=9

CATEGORY LAYOUTS (not working - 1 column):

Hi, both views are different.

Categories view doesn!t display categories in float boxes, so you can set the columns count in parameters.

But category view displays images in float boxes, so it depends on users browsers how many columns will be displayed. Images are displayed this way:

1 2 3 end of site
4 5 6 end of site

So you can set the width of the site (phoca gallery box in parameters) and with this setting you can set the column count in fact. If you will set e.g. width for only 2 image boxes, then you will have two columns.

I really do appreciate your help and everything you are suggesting makes perfect sense, but I must be missing something still because I set my Phoca Galley Width in Parameters to a variety of sizes, but it all categories still only display 1 column. If you are still willing to assist, me I would appreciate it. To make things easier, I have uploaded the Parameter Settings that you can download and view. Thanks again for you input.

Hi, they are set by image width or height, you can set padding and margin of them, see parameters.

It seems that I have some mess with the files as I found it on my local server.
I'll reinstall it on the server. Thanks Jan
