I get the following error: The GD function ImageCreateFromJPEG doesn't work on your server

I am new to Joomla and Linux. You can see the web site at www.adkdesigntech.com, I am using the default template until I can get the gallery working. I can use all the help I can get.

Your GD doesn't work. See the:

Help - system info - php information, if you have enabled support for GD... if not the GD must be installed on your system...

Where is the Help - System Info - Php info?

I am running Fedora Core 7.

I did a yum install GD and it said it was installed with no action taken.

When I did the Help icon from the admin of Phoca Gallery it just gave me 3 hyperlinks for your site.

I am new to this and I appreciate your help.

I found the php info and the following is the only GD referenced

--enable-gd-native-ttf' THat was under the configure command

How would I enable GD support? no idea I have installed my localhost server (php, mysql, apache) with XAMPP for my Suse Linux, see:

and there was all I needed (with GD support)

I have the same problem.. but I don't know how can I fix it.. I don't know what is the main problem..
