Hallo zusammen,

ich hab auch ein Problem mit der Phoca Gallery in Version 2.6.2.
Nachdem ich die Gallery auf nem Joomla 1.5.15 installiert habe (und den Install Button gedrückt habe) kann ich alle Control-Panel Module der Phoca Gallery öffnen nur bei dem Modul Kategorien und Mitglieder kommt ein Datenbankfehler.

Die Tabellen der Datenbank wurden korrekt angelegt (Verglichen mit einer anderen Joomla Installation, auf dem selben Webspace, wo die Gallery funktioniert)

Hat jemand eine Idee?

thank you for your answer.
I am in complete agreement with you, it is a table or column problem but I checked the database and table structure and compared it to another installation (same joomla version, same phoca version). The structure is the same every table has the right columns with it.
The only difference between the installations was that the one with the problem was a joomla 1.5.10 befor I updated it to 1.5.15. But this shouldn't be a problem..

Hi, yes I think this should not be a problem. So if the tables are correct,then there must be some problem with getting the data from database. Try to enable debug mode to see if you get some error message from the database?

Hi jan,
i enabled the debug mode and got two 500 errors one with the members module and the other with the categories module.
I attachted a screenshot of the categories error. Hope you can see anything..

Hi, try to upgrade you mysql, seems like your mysql version doesn't work with combined queries

IT WORKS!
It was the SQL Database.. I upgraded it to MYSQL 5.0 and now everything is fine..
I missed the version of the database all DBs were Version 5 only this one was 4..

As I mentioned in a different post around christmas, I do have the same problem with 2.6.2. I tried everything, but the fault remains the same as mentioned by Dee. Now I backuped my DB and photos and downgraded to version 2.5.8 of phoca gallery and it´s working now.

You´re right, the problem must be the mysql version, but unfortunately I can´t upgrade mysql, because my provider still uses mysql 4 and don´t give the option of 5.

Isn´t there an option, that you can ask in your program, what version of mysql is used and use for mysql 4 these queries, which are working? Otherwise an upgrade to newer gallery versions is not possible. And I have chosen joomla, because it is working very well with mysql 4.

Hi, the only one solution is:

- somebody will find the problem in the SQL which will not work in version 4
- and will paste some solution for version 4

For now I don't have any information about which part is not working uder 4 and how to change it so it will be working under 4 version.

If I get such information, I will try to implement it into new version ASAP so it can work without any problems in version 4
