Sorry for my English:)
Now i try to explain what i want;)
i,admin, created for example four categories:1,2,3,4
And i want that every registered user can upload there own image in category 1or2 or3 or 4!!!because now he can upload only in his own new created category! How can i do it?Thanks

Hi, you can assign upload rights to different users, so they can upload to other then their own categories, see:

i still have problem...I give such rights to category:
Access right: All registred users
Upload and Add User Rights: All registred users
Delete and Publish User Rights: All registred users
and problem in
Owner: here i can choose only one user ( exactly this field settles the user that i choose upload image))

So first question can i see the site where can i see how it works?
2 how can i choose in field "Owner" choose not only one user?

Hi,the album may not have an owner (do not set the owner), it works for me.

and make sure the folder is set, otherwise pg does not know where to save the image.
and - if set so - the image needs authorization by an administrator in backend.

I am having similar problem and tried out all the steps mentioned in this post but no luck.

I then deleted everything and started from fresh. I have created a new category called 'try' using pg categories.

I have also created a folder called 'try' under images/phocagallery. For this category I have set:

Access Level - Registered
Access right - All Registered Users
Upload and Add User Rights - All Registered Users
Delete and Publish User Rights - All Registered Users
Owner - Nobody
Owner Folder - try

When I log in as a registered user and try to use the user upload, I get a message on the page saying 'Main Category: (Not created)' under the user tab. And under images tab I get the following message:

There is no category where to upload images. First create a category please.
If your category is created and you cannot upload images then ask administrator:

* if you have permission to upload images into the main category
* if you are owner of the main category
* if the user upload folder is set for your main category.

What am I doing wrong? Please help. Its been quite a few days.

Hi, is the try root category. If you want to upload there in UCP, you need to have some owner id for this category.

Yes try is root category. If I assign a owner id to the category doesnt that mean it won't allow any other user to upload via UCP? What I am trying to achieve is multiple files upload to pre-defined categories for multiple users.
