Hi, is the file an internal file?

Hi Jan, is there a way statistics to count how many times an external file has been downloaded? For the internal files the stats work ok but not for those of external links.

Hi, there is no such option, as the link is linked to external server, the stats must be done on the external server. There is no option in Phoca Download as external link is a directed link to external server where Phoca Download has no influence.

Thanks for the reply Jan. It would be useful to count external link downloads as well. I thought you were counting the downloads by checking if a download button was pressed.

Hi, this is not possible (in technical way) because you can only count if you are on your server - then you can write the count to your database, if you are or another server, it is not possible to write something from another server to your database.
