First Upload Problem

Hello,
I am having a problem uploading files to my site from the front end. The file is successfully uploaded, but immediately after the upload, I am directed to a 404 page (document not found). If I use the Back arrow, I can get back to the site and see the file that I uploaded, but how can I make this error message stop? Obviously, users don't want to see an error message every time they upload a file.
