Hello,

It could be that I oversee something. If so, my apologies!

I would like to create a download-page in which Phoca Download displays all the files from a specific category. I am using the Phoca Download plugin, but when I select that I want to include a category, the specific article shows a folder (the category specified). Only after clicking that specific folder, I get to the content of that category (with the descriptions and download-button). Is it possible to get directly to the page in which all the downloads (the content of the category) are listed? So bypassing the article with the folder?

I know that I can create an article in which a load all the individual download files, but that page will not have the descibtion, nor the download button.

I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you. I just wanted to chime in that I am having the same or similar problem.

I want to go directly to a particular section or category item when I click on a menu item. At the time of menu creation, when I click "type" the only options that I see are these:

Phoca Download
Phoca Download Sections
Phoca Download Section List Layout
User Upload
User Upload Layout


I can't find a way to assign a particular section or category to my menu item. I thought this was a new fix for this release??

Please advise...I've seen many people on here with the same issue.

First of all: Thanks for your support and Patience!

I managed to get the required layout within a menu-item. Thanks for that!! However is it also possible to get the same layout in an article using the Phoca Download plugin?

Hi, yes you can set different links in the plugin.

I Know, However when I select "Link to a Category" from the plugin I get an article in which a Folder is displayed which is representing the category. Only after selecting the folder I get all the downloads within that Category.

I would like to have an article in which I get all downloads within an category directly (with the same layout as compared to the menu-item). Is that possible?

Hi, I don't understand? If you set link to category, then you will be linked to list of files in a category like in the component as in fact this si the link to component.
