newbie : review by guests settings

After testing a lot of shops I settled down on Phoca Cart and I really like it. I am struggling however to allow Reviews to be entered by Guests .
Reviews are switched on, but only registered users can add a review. Joomla 5
Tried so far:
Activated guest review = OK in Joomla 5 user rights.
allowed extra field editing by guests in Joomla 5
Scrolled every options menu a couple of times.
Phoca Cart Options, rights: advanced reviews on for Guest and Public
A lot of googling...
I am using the Dutch translation of Phoca Cart, so something might be lost in translation.
All help is welcome!
