Hi everyone... maybe it's a stupid question, but how should I install a new language? is there any tutorial to get it?

Download your language from download section and copy this language into the following folders in your Joomla site:
e.g. your language is english - en-GB


language/en-GB
administrator/language/en-GB

Sorry guys, I was looking how to install a new language and I found this post. After placing these files in the right folders, Is there anything else I should do? Because nothing happens, and in the info tab it still says english (I should change it to es-ES). Thanks!!

Ps: by the way, my version is 2.0.0 RC2 (joomla 1.6).

the available spanish translation of Phoca Guestbook is a joomla v1.5 version. (It's not compatible with Phoca Guestbook for joomla v1.6)
joomla v1.6 translations, components, modules and plugins are marked with this signe:

I'm having problems related to XML file, and I don't know how to make a manual installation... would there be any Spanish language download with the file incorporated? I'm obviously talking about phoca guestbook and Joomla 1.5

1.) download the spanisch language file for Phoca Guestbook for joomla v1.5 here: http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsre ... stbook.zip
2.) unzip es-ES.com_phocaguestbook.zip local on your pc.
3.) copy and paste the files:

• es-ES.com_phocaguestbook.ini
  es-ES.com_phocaguestbook.menu.ini

with a FTP-Client like FileZilla is, to:

• /language/es-ES
  /administrator//language/es-ES
