I'm having the same problem with http://www.sweetgrassrods.com/index.php ... &Itemid=30. I tested java in my browser (Firefox) and everything is working fine. The demo looks so much nicer without the form and I would really like to get that layout.

What can we do?

Hi, on the site there is some conflict in mootools, the error is apperaing there but don't know what this should mean, the opening the form is made by Joomla! framework's pane method, maybe there is some conflict

That's odd because I think the menu system is using the same slider system? It's oj-accordion, the older version. (They upgraded it just after I got it installed.) I can attach the ojaccordion zip file (it's just a couple files) and the mootools.js, if it would help track down the problem. Well, maybe I can't, the system won't let me attach files.

As I can see from the forum posts, it's not just me....

I've tried a couple modifications to the code and the best I've managed is to hide the entire block. :x

Hi, yes the uploading of files is disabled from security reasons here :-(

But the Phoca Gallery loads the mootools from Joomla! framework, so in fact Phoca Gallery uses Joomla! framework library and I don't know any idea how to customize it or ... as I am not expert on javascript :-( :-(

I have discussed the problem with another Joomla developer and he has given me some code that may help me find the source of the problem. If I find the solution, I'll post it here.

I didn't find a resolution to the problem but I know more about it. I'm more certain that the display slider is running into problems with the sliding menu system. I installed the guest book on another client's website, which doesn't have a sliding menu, and everything worked fine.

I gave my client the option of using Phocaguestbook with the form always open, or using easybook and visitors can click back & forth between the guest book and the entry form. (btw, the sliding version of easybook didn't work either.) He chose the Phocaguestbook because of the e-mail notification for postings.

So there you are. I think that visitors to joomla extensions should be warned that the sliding form may not work if they are using a sliding menu. If you like, I can post that information with my rating (4 stars).

Hi, but this is not related information as in Joomla! there are a lot of conflicts if you install different extensions (components, plugins, templates, modules). Such extensions have own features and for such features you need mostly e.g. javascript libraries. If there is some conflict between two extensions, then this is not some wrong feature of some extension. So the template can work great but it is great because it uses some specific library. If it will not use it, then it will be not so great and will not conflict with other extension ... :-(

Phoca Guestbook works with standard templates and uses the Joomla! framework for the sliding effect. So in fact you need to rate the Joomla! framework which will not work with the template not Phoca Guestbook.

Has anyone found a solution to this. I installed Phoca Guestbook in the Beez_20 template. I read about sliding, but I don't have anything like that on this site. It's pretty simple. Please help. The page is www .knotemusic.com/testimonials. It appears that this has been happening for a long time -- maybe a solution now?

Thank you.
