I see some threads have a tag "solved" which presents the green "solved" mark in the thread list. I can't seem to find how to add that tag.

in this forum only admins and mods are able to set tags.

Then, should one ask for tagging a thread as "solved", and if so, as additional post ot the thread?

No, there is no need to request this. We can see when the initial question in a thread has been answered, and if there are no further questions, we set the thread to ‘solved’.
