When I install v5.1.2 on Joomla 4.4.13 - it allows me to install/upgrade but causes the whole site to break.

"0 Call to undefined method Joomla\Filesystem\File::getExt()
We can’t seem to find the page you’re looking for"

I think it's similar to this:

There were changes due to Joomla 6, and some methods in the file and folder classes were removed from Joomla Core for no apparent reason. So if you have Joomla 4, it's better to downgrade to 4.0.9.

Just install that version over it.

Or update to Joomla 5, then you can use version 5.1.2.
