Is it possible to move Phoca Galleries from a very old Joomla site to a Word Press site? If so how?

No, to my knowledge this is not possible, because Phoca Gallery is a pure Joomla! extension. There is no interface or similar to WordPress.

But no guarantee whether it works and is worth the money.
