Hi Folks,

What do I do wrong; have tried a lot but it does not work

1. I have read the manual in English and German and done as described
2. However the tax rate does not change with country in my case
3. In my case ONLY the "tax-field" out of the "product"-category shows in checkout-calculation
4. If I don't set, then there is also no tax shown in the checkout-calculation
5. and yes; I have enabled Dynamic Tax Rate parameter in PhocaCart-Options
6. attached Screenshot shows: 19% VAT for Austria (out of "product"-category)
7. ... for which I have set the country-tax (Dynamic Tax Rate) to 0%

after tuning PlugIn "vies_vat_number_validation_v4.0.8" and reading post: viewtopic.php?p=176270&hilit=Dynamic+Tax+Rate#p176270

• it's working for Switzerland (outsinde EU) -> 0% -> OK
• but NOT for Austria (within EU) -> still shows the German VAT 19% (supposed to show 0%) -> NOT OK

What's wrong ?

Hi, you should have some list of general tax rates and include country's tax rate to each item in list.

The quesiton is if you did define the tax rates for each country properly?

thanks a lot. Now I understand the logic behind this. It's working this way.
Maybe this is why others are also struggling, once in a while
