How are Hits calculated in Phoca gallery?

Hi, hits of image are calculated only when no popup window method or iframe method is displayed. When you have standard popup methods like Photoswipe, displaying detail image does not run server response, so there is no hit counted. See similar posts in this forum which explain it more in detail.

I tried to find more explanation. But I must not be very good at it, I haven't found anything to shed any light on it.
