I also had the same line 172 error "Warning undefined property" and it was fixed nicely with the V4.5.4Beta.
Then I saw 4.5.4 was released and installed it.
But I'm getting lots of errors like Warning: Undefined array key "display_masonry" on lines 458, 1135 in view.html.php and also line 38 in default_images.php

I would really like to get the simple theme setup like in your demo but I just can't get image / text sizes and layouts.
Anyway - I'll go back to the beta after you check this out. The site isn't live yet so I can wait a couple of days for you to check it

This is phocacart not gallery
(also wrong on your github page)
