Installed module 4.4.0 on J 4.3.1 and it is not working.
When clicking on the module I get this error:

An error has occurred.
0 Class "JRequest" not found

Mist. I thought version 4.xxx was for J4. The solution with the plugin does not work since it only gets images out of one category.
Was mache ich jetzt?

Hi, yes, a lot of parameters are missing in Joomla 4 - in the plugin code, so e.g. the titles are managed by component parameters (or when you switch to view=category-masonry - there as default the titles are not displayed)

But I don't have any information that displaying category name and link is possible in plugin or even in obsolete module). Did you mean the "categories" view in plugin (such displays list of categories with category links in plugin)

Hi, I don't know if you read this viewtopic.php?t=62650 but it is in fact impossible to say some specific date when some extension will be ready.

When you are working on overwriting extensions, you can think, it will be ready in two days and then you meet some problem which moves the solution for e.g. months (because of different problems - Joomla bugs, or missing feature which is not more a part or new Joomla, etc. etc. etc.).

Phoca extensions are free extensions and I am under attack of thousands tasks because of overwriting extension for new Joomla system.

It is community driven software so if I have so much tasks and there is demand for this module:

- somebody can hire a developer to overwrite it for Joomla 4 and give such solution to the community
- or somebody can pay my time to stop all other tasks I need to do and do such plugin (in this case I will take a leave of absence from my regular job and give priority to this module)
- or, or, or...

Yes, I would like to see such module for Joomla 4 too but as there is a plugin for now which can do the same work, the way is to use this plugin and if the plugin is missing some feature, such can be added to feature request list:

But from this post I still don't understand some feature requests.

Then you should probably charge some small license fee (Don't be afraid of) so that that you are able to hire some people to help you.
You have a good established product.
I'll keep donating, but I would guess that there are not a lot of people out there to donate to this project.

For my issue: I need to show the latest uploaded gallery pictures on the front page.
I have 10 categories.
