Installation with SafeMode ON

Hey all,
i am trying to install the guestbook on my joomla but i am struggelin with safemode: on.
now i followed the instructions of the "Installation Problem Solving"

It seems like i did everything right, but there is still one thing i cant do with safemode: on
I cant install the "com_phocaguestbook_ftp_install.zip" file. Can i somehow manually install this?

Hi, in fact now, the ftp install includes all the necessary information for running the component (menu in administration, information in database). You should solve the permissions problem as in other case your Joomla! site will be not usable
(you will be limited not only while Joomla! installation process)

Hey,
right now i cant turn off SafeMode.
I gave it another try. Installed phoca guestbook on my localhost joomla and copied all files to my webspace joomla.
I took out the MySQL components>phocaguestbook and copied it to the MySQL of my webspace.
Now the Phoca Guestbook is showing up in the Backend in Components, i can also create a guestbook.
But when i connect a Menu Item with the Guestbook it sais:

Warning: require_once(HTMLPurifier/Error.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/htdocs/web46/html/marvin-gerdes/components/com_phocaguestbook/assets/library/HTMLPurifier/ConfigSchema.php on line 3 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'HTMLPurifier/Error.php' (include_path='.') in /srv/www/htdocs/web46/html/marvin-gerdes/components/com_phocaguestbook/assets/library/HTMLPurifier/ConfigSchema.php on line 3
Any idea? i also copied the ConfigSchema.php from the localhost to my webspace and set all files and folders on my webspace to chmod 777

HELLL YEAH I DID IT!!!
so for everyone who wants to install Phoca Guestbook with SafeMode:On
Follow the instructions in the Installation Problem solving. (copy files and sql)
Then open Dreamweaver. Press STRG+F and search for files in folder joomla/components/com_phocaguestbook/
Search for:
'HTMLPurifier/
Replace for example with:
'/srv/www/htdocs/USER/html/DOMAIN/components/com_phocaguestbook/assets/library/HTMLPurifier/
REPLACE ALL!
That should fix it.

aaaand again.
I think there are more problems. for example. if i change some preferences in the backend it doesnt change anything in the frontend. I can not even see the posts from the guestbook in the backend. Seems like it would never work.
K. I will try it again to install it on localhost and copy everything.
