Phoca Gallery - Extra large icon in category display

I've just upgraded from Joomla 3 to J4 and the category display that used to show thumbnails in rows of 4 or 5 now shows 1 thumbnail with very large icons for download and magnify in each row. Can someone tell me how to remove or resize those icons. I'm using Gallery 4.5.4 with J4..2.8.
