Hiding Description Area of Thumbnails

Hi,

New to Phoca Gallery so just feeling my way around. Running version 4.5 on Joomla 4.2.2

For the life of me I can't see how to remove/hide the grey area that overlays the Thumbnails. Here's what one of my Galleries (Categories) looks like https://imgur.com/a/Kj1gbtI

When I look at some demos it seems like this is possible but they all seem to be Joomla 3 so maybe this is not a feature in Joomla 4?

Also I see hints about Mosaic but I don't see that in any options

Hi, in Joomla 4, there is no more Mosaic effect.

If you mean the transparency grey below the title of the image:

- you can change it in CSS
- you can load other theme so the title will be below images, theme Standard:

Download: https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/ ... ery-themes

- or you can hide the title in Options too.

Thanks Jan,

Looks like Standard theme comes with Phoca Gallery 4.5.

However I looked again and found the item in Options this time that removes the image title in the thumbnail. It's in Options > Category View > Display Name

and should be set to "Hide".

Thanks again for replying - much appreciated.

It now looks like this i the thumbnails in Category view https://imgur.com/IbWVbWa
