Images get rotatet & Zoom Plugin for Phoca Cart

Hi Jan,
I have three "issues" and hope you have any hint to solve.
(1) Rotation of Images
I uploaded 4 images in original size (4000*6000) via FTP to the PhocaCart Product photo folder.
If I select them in the product editor they are shown correctly. But the created thumbnails are rotated with 90 degree.
(2) Phoca Cart Zoom Plugin or other plugin => full resolution
I create a webpage for a violin maker and he has the requirement, that the customers want to see the images in the full available resolution. What is the best way to achieve this? I set 4000 for width and height in configuration, but the "zoom"-area is not detailed as expected. They have to see "every pixel".
(3) Phoca Cart Zoom behind the Main Menu
I have an interesting issue. If I use the standard popup in phoca cart (magnifice) I see the image as expected.
But if I use the Phoca Cart Zoom Plugin the main menu is shown in front of the popup. Have you any idea to avoid this behaviour?
Here you find some screenshots:

Thank you very much!
Best,
Jan
