Play button for external link

Is it possible to have a PLAY button instead of a DOWNLOAD button for a video file that uses an external link? I have the parameters set to display the PLAY button in the menu.
Also, I have a video and audio version of a file. Is it possible to have a LISTEN button along with a PLAY button for the two versions of the same file?
