Moin,
kann man im Benutzerzentrum (Frontend) das Anlegen, Löschen und Bearbeiten von Kategorien (Haupt. und Unter) verbieten.
Ich möchte lediglich die Bilder verändern oder uploaden lassen.

Hello,
Is it possible to ban the creation, deletion and editing of categories (main and sub) in the frontend user manager?
I just want to change or upload the pictures.

Hi, you can set rights for frontend upload (for each category)

- access - user can access
- delete - use can delete
- upload - user can upload

In options you can set how many subcategories user can create - so you can set it to zero.

Hey,
txh ..

- access - user can access
- delete - use can delete
- upload - user can upload

is only for the pictures. I do not want the user to be able to create a subdirectory (yes, this can be done with set zero). But he can delete and edit these. Can I hide the main and subcategory TABS? The user should be able to select only one category and upload, delete or modify ONLY IMAGES.

Hi, you can try to test uploading in "category view" - See category view settings.

Hi, no, to customize the user upload view, you need to modify the outputs or override the outputs of "user" view in your template (anyway - there is thousands of places where the options can be used in the extension, but because of performance issues and clarity, it is not possible to add parameters everywhere :-( )
