Translation files

I have set the nl-NL files into the administrator/languages and in /languages, but no Dutch translation is visible. I have set Joomla content-language to nl-NL.
Seems to be that Phoca email can not read the ini files of the nl-NL language.
Any suggestions ?

Hi,
ok, you have unzipped this language pack:
https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaEmail/r ... l-J2.5.zip
locally on your machine and copied this files:
nl_NL.com_phocaemail.ini
nl_NL.com_phocaemail.sys.ini
into this folders:
/language/nl-NL/
/administrator/language/nl-NL/
Did you clear all caches? (Browser & Joomla!)
Kind regards,
Benno

Yes, I have done that, no success. Strangly enough, or example, I can not find the string for ´Subject´ in the en-GB ini files also. Shoukd be located in /administrator/languages/en-GB.com_phocaemail.ini , so ?
Something must be wrong in a php file.
I also don´t see a menu translation for menu itself nor for the Phoca Email administrator left-column translation

Hi,
Strangly enough, or example, I can not find the string for ´Subject´ in the en-GB ini files also.
en-GB.com_phocaemail.ini
Line 194
Code: Select all
COM_PHOCAEMAIL_FIELD_SUBJECT="Subject"
Translated with:
nl_NL.com_phocaemail.ini
Line 57
Code: Select all
COM_PHOCAEMAIL_FIELD_SUBJECT="Onderwerp"
Kind regards,
Benno

It was an example Benno.I know this is on line 57 but it doesn´t show. All translation stays on English. I have set the content Joomla language on nl-NL So, beats me.

Hi,
ok, I found it. You have to rename the language files from:
nl_NL.com_phocaemail.ini
nl_NL.com_phocaemail.sys.ini
to:
nl-NL.com_phocaemail.ini
nl-NL.com_phocaemail.sys.ini
Then the translated stings will be displayed in dutch.
Note, these language files are not up to date. Many strings will still be displayed in English.
If you want to complete the translation follow this guide:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=58398#p148977
It's made for Phoca Guestbook but the 'How to do' is the same.
Kind regards,
Benno
