Image Access rights

why can I only give Folders Access rights?
I would like to hide cirten Pictures for visitors!!
how can I configure that

Hi, there are rights for categories only, as mostly the need is to protect all the images in category/album. Checking every image plus rights of its category, parent category and menu link rights, etc. can cause large slowdown of the system. Just imagine, you check for album rights where 100 images are listed. The check is one but if you check for image rights, you check it 100x more on one album page (and it is not only the image rights, you need to check all the mix of all rights together)
