Cant create guestbooks - defaulting to category screen

Hi all, I hope you can help me. I successfully installed phoca guestbook. but when I try to create a new guestbook via admin console, it defaults me to the "categories" screen and I can see a message "No matches found". It is weird because it worked fine before, I uninstalled and installed it again and now I can't create any guestbook.
Thank you very much !

Kind regards,

Hi Benno, I enabled php logging but I can't see any errors.
This is what I see once I install phone guestbook and try to add a guestbook, it goes directly to the "categories" screen.

How can I remove it completely from joomla ? I think when I uninstall it, it does not remove it 100%.
When I reinstall it, it does not give me any errors, but when I try to create a new guestbook it sends me to the category page as shown in the screen shot attached here in my hotmail drive

Any clue ?
Thanks !

Hi,
to remove completely a component from Joomla!, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... m-manually
Sometimes items in Joomla! will stay in database, so this should remove it completely.
