This topic was posted about 1 year ago . But i still have a same question asked in a topic i.e.

"could it be possible to split Registered User into Groups and permit each Group to upload the definite number of photos."

if there is some module or plugin or any kind of help regarding this problem ,so plz help me out.

Hi, in Phoca Gallery, there are rights for categories - and basic Joomla! groups - registered, special and for selected users.

In Joomla! 1.6 you will be able to add different groups in new ACL.
