Hi, check if the file mime type is set in Settings, if not, you need to add the mime type of the file to Settings.

Try to check settings on your server, maybe there are some restrictions.

Hey Jan,

I am having the same problem. I set my global configuration up and enabled the mp4 file. However, I get the error message "This file type is not ...." I also have the upload limit way above the size of the file. So, is there a fix for this?

Other than that, can I just upload via FTP? if so, what folder do I upload them to and will it work?

So, update, I was able to upload files to the Phoca Download folder. However, they are not seen in Phoca Download. When I go to media manager, they are there. But when I go to Phoca download folder, they are not. How do I get them into the phoca download folder after transfering from FTP.

hey, btw, I appreciate all the hard work you put into this forum!

[SOLVED] I figured it out, I was trying to put the files into host/image/phocadownload folder. However, when I put the files into the host/phocadownload folder, it worked! (I didn't see the host/phocadownload folder the first hundred tries...(duh)
