Have both direct and indirect links

I have a number of djvu documents on my site that I would like to open directly in my browser and also have the option to download. When I select Direct Link parm, both the download link and the download icon have the same behaviour. Would it be possible to have the download link behave as the direct link and the download icon always open the download manager popup?

You might look into
Template Overrides.
