Hi..
Im using Phoca Download 1.0.5 Beta..

Im still confused, how to disable the download of the stuffs for Non-Registered users .

I just need to show everything to my users and visitors.
When they click on the file, they are asked to LOGIN or REGISTER..

Just let me know,how to do that..

I need to show the description and a video in the file description, while it shows the file..
Is that possible ?

I dont need the DETAILS button. Just want it to be shown , just below the file link, like it happens in Docman..

Hi, you can set description to be displayed above or below the file (see display description parameter in Parameters).

if you want to display files for public and allow to download it only for registered, then see:

It says,
"Go to Components » Phoca Download » Files. Create new item or edit some existing item. Set Access level to e.g. Registered and set Display Unaccessible File to Yes. Now all users can see the file but only registered can download it."


But there is no such option for Display Unaccessible File there.. Im using the 1.0.5 BETA.

Ok i uploaded the latest version of 1.1.0 and both the details and download issue is fixed..

Just one issue remains..

I need to show a video with my description.

Im using Flowplayer plugin for videos and when i using the flowplayer syntax in that File description, it doesnt work..
it just displays the syntax and no output...

Hi, I don't know flowplayer plugin, but if this is a content plugin, it can be used only in content (article)

While adding a file, it gives the content editot for the description and all im doing is using the content plugin syntax there for these plugins, but they doesnt work..

Did you get my point ??

Hi, you cannot run content plugins in other component. They can be runned only in Article.
