Hi all

Might I'm overlooking something obvious, but I cannot figure out why in my installation at max 20 pictures are shown per category - no pagination.

Have several categories with more than 20 pictures, but only the first 20 are shown.
If I click on the 20th picture (so detail-view is opened), then I click on the "right-arrow" ... then I can see these pictures by manually forwarding using the arrow-button. ... so they are there!
Edit: Just figured out - also in Slideshow-Mode it shows all pictures of the gallery and doesn't stop at the 20th

I did read documentation and also did some research here, but didn't found much. I just found that the Joomla List-Length should be set correctly ... however, played around with that one - it doesn't matter, if it is set to 5, 20 or 100; exactly 20 pictures are shown.

Someone might an idea, where the issue could be?

Hi,

the list length you can define in the phoca gallery parameters.

You can enable the pagination in your menu item (menus > your menu > your menu item > basic -parameters = 1st box on the right).

Thanks a lot for your answer ... it pointed me towards the resolution for the problem.
I have to admit, it was caused by an mistake on my side, but a not very obvious one.

I will write here what went wrong, so might somebody else experiencing the same issue can find a solution.
I have two organizations on my webpage sharing a common gallery, but are in different categories.
So I have a menu-item pointing to a standard Joomla-Article, explaining about the organizations and their pictures.
I then have two Sub-menu-items, each directing to the Phoca-Gallery-Categorie of the corresponding organization.
--> This works actually well, pagination is working also on my page.

What I did WRONG is the following:
In the above described standard Joomla-Article I put some direct links to the Phoca-Galleries of the organizations.
The URL for this link I took out of the addressbar of the browser (when viewing in this category).
This was a mistake, because now pagination is not showing up.

Solution actually was quite easy: Copy the link for the menu-item instead of the URL in browser and it now works.
