Hi,

I just upgraded from from Phoca Gallery 4.2.1 to 4.3.0. I am going through the PG component in the site backend and I noticed the following:

PG > Styles > Bootstrap.min.css is Unpublished with v4.3 upgrade. My Joomla template uses Bootstrap and I think it has all the Bootstrap CSS needed for my site.
1) Is the PG Bootstrap.min.css needed for auto-sizing of PG photos for responsive device size screens?

2) What is that PG CSS file used for and why is it unpublished by default?

3) I don't want to conflict with my Joomla template CSS and Bootstrap so let me know what you recommend for this.

Thanks!

Hi,
1) if you template uses the bootstrap, then you can disable it in Phoca Gallery styles, so no two bootstrap libaries are displayed. Unfortunately as everywhere, there are two (three will be) versions of Bootstrap, so it must be tested if the images will be resized or not
2) this is uses in case, template does not load it and you want to use bootstrap design
3) see 1) to not conflict with two Bootstrap libraries, use only the one of template.

So:
- use the template Bootstrap libary
- upload theme responsive for Phoca Gallery - this will add custom css in Phoca Gallery styles and change the Options in Phoca Gallery to have the images with fluid size
- and test if there is no conflict on the site.
