How to update

Hello, I didn't update any extension before and now I want to update from Phocadownload 1.0.6 to 1.1.0
How to do it the best way? Have I first to uninstall the current version?

No, don't uninstall the previous version. Just install new version and click on Upgrade button. (don't click on Install button, in such case all data will be lost)

Thank you! Just to be sure:
Joomla Extensions - Install - install com_phocadownload_v1[1].1.0.zip - and then, where do I find the upgrade-button?

I'm also struggling with understanding this. The only place I can find to install the new version would be through "Joomla Extensions >> Install" - but there is no upgrade button, just "Upload File & Install". Does the upgrade button appear in the component after you have done this?
EDIT: I answered my own question. Decided that I didn't have that many files, so I just tried it. You do select "Upload File & Install" and then two buttons appear in the window (they're huge - you won't miss them) - one for install, the other for upgrade.
