I have all the latest version of Joomla, Joomfish and Phoca installed. Maybe I shouldn't use the beta, but somebody has to
Well anyway, when I try to translate the menuitem that points to the Phoca Gallery I get thrown out of Joomfish and into the Joomla control panel (during saving the translation). Anybody have a tips of what I can do?

i searched the forum for an hour and didn´t find an solution (well deleting browser/joomla cache didnt work...)

I have Phoca Gallery 2.2 (stable)
Joomfish 2.02 (stable)
and the official joomfish plugin for translating phoca gallery2. (downloaded from this page)

translating all kinds of components and modules is working - except the phoca menu.
and the only thing that happens, is what he describes above.
i have no clue.

Hi, the menu item is not a part of Phoca Gallery but the part of Joomla! Menu. I am not sure, but is the menu link to gallery defined in joomfish file for Phoca Gallery?

i think so. at least there are a few more points to edit, than in the normal menu, while translating...

anyway... i read somewhere, that in phoca1 there is/was a similar sympton, which was solved by adding 3 lines php code in a file located in administrator/components/phoca/xxx.php - i hardly remember sorry...

i exclude some permission problems... alle folders are 755, all files 644.

This isn't so hard to understand. You make a ordinary menuitem to the phoca gallery (category list layout). But then you translate the menuitems with Joomfish. Every menuitem translates fine except for the menuitem that links to the Phoca Gallery. I don't know if the Joomfish component is the problem or Phoca, but it doesn't work.

Is there a "Content Element File" for Joomfish (and Phoca Gallery...) ?

Where may I download it ?

Hi,

even with the last version 2.2.4 it is still not possible to translate text with JoomFish.
Do you have any solution for this?

I can't find any option to install the JoomFish file for Phoca Gallery in the option menu????
