Youtube thumbnails no longer working

Hi,

In the past, when I imported a Youtube video, thumbnails would be created automatically. Now, the images that are being imported have 0 bytes and Phoca just hangs trying to create a thumbnail.

I'm not sure if this is related, but during the import there's now a warning message:

Failed loading XML file. Start tag expected, '<' not found

Any ideas?

Chris

I seem to have found the answer in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=34366

According to Jan, "There will be small limitation, you will need API key to be able to import the YouTube videos. I will write documentation about this when I will release new version."

Any idea when the new version may come out, just so I can update my client? Thank you...

Chris

Hi, for now, I cannot really say, I have done over 60% but there are many factors which can influence it, so really cannot say :-(

Hi, I have the same problem with Joomla 2.5.28 and Phoca Gallery 3.2.8.
Is there any estimate of when this error will be resolved?
Regards,

Hi Jan,
it's possible to install Phoca Gallery 4.2.1 on Joomla 2.5.28?

Hi,

This not possible, as database tables are changed etc.

What do you think about an upgrade from J 2.5 to J 3.4.5?
Phocagallery needs to undergo a migration: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... o-joomla-3

Kind regards, Christine
