Image title and Joomla article link

I am new to Phoca but followed the "getting started" instructions with no problems!! I have loaded a gallery of church family photos. I plan to title each image with the family name - ie John and Jane Hamilton. I notice that the title only displays the first 15 or so characters. Is it possible to have additional characters display instead of the ... and extend it so that the full width of the line under the photo is used? Is there a way of clicking on the photo (or one of the icons with it) and opening up a Joomla article so I can show the photo along with all the additional info I have for the family?
