Hello, I need advice. How to put the gallery on the home page (last 8 galleries added)? Need to own module. Can this be done?

Hi, it depends on which way you want to display it:
- you can set Phoca Gallery on home page (component)
- you can display the images in content (article) on home page (Phoca Gallery Content Plugin)
- or you can display it in module position with help of Phoca Gallery Image Module

Jan, thanks for the reply.
I used Phoca Gallery Image Module. Just can not figure out how to display the album and not just recently added photos.
I use the latest version of Joomla and Gallery..

Využil jsem Phoca Gallery Image Module. Jen nemohu přijít na to, jak zobrazovat jen alba a né naposledy přidané fotky.
Používám poslední verzii joomly a galerie.

Hi, not sure what you mean with "album only" but in Options of the module you can select an album so the images displayed in module position will be selected only from this album.

Well, I'll try to describe it. Now I module displays recently added photos. I would not but I wanted to show the last added albums.

No zkusím to popsat. Teď se mi v modulu zobrazují naposledy přidané fotky. Já bych tam ale chtěl zobrazovat naposledy přidaná alba.

Hi, so for this, new module needs to be found. Now there is:
- Phoca Gallery Image module - displays images (you can order it, so it can display latest images)
- Phoca Gallery Tree module - displays categories but in tree - which means it does not display categories by date as tree cannot display such ordering.
So in fact you need some mix of these modules: to get only categories - you need the tree module and then order them by date.
Hmm, in fact the tree module can be used as base for this. You will not display the categories in tree but you will order them by date.
But before doing a modification, try to look at JED, maybe there is some external module to do this:
