There is possibility to customize the parameters for menu link - so you will add ordering of categories parameter to menu links and then you can create a menu link to category A ordered by ... and menu link to category A ordered by ... but then the problem is tree - you go from categories to category to detail view and back but how then can the system recognize that the ordering of the same category should be other
