Just installed Phoca Download 1.0.6 on Joomla 1.5.8. Installation seemed to be successful. But when I go to the Sections area in the Administrator I get the following error message:

I added a section but it doesn't show up in the list.

If I go to Categories I get the following error messages:

Installation doesn't seem to have worked or something...

Hi, it seems like tables for Phoca Download were not created by installation, see the following site (it is for Phoca Gallery but it is the same as for Phoca Download):

That solved the problem. No tables were installed for some reason. Installing them manually and everything is great!

Hi,

I get the same message but only when I try to go to Users. I have added categories and uploade images and documents. I get the same message for both phoca download and gallery. Please see below a screen dump of tables that are installed. When looking at the install.bak file it seems that all the tables are installed.


I am not sure what might be the issue.

The site is hosted on Windows server using IIS (not my choice).

Hi, did you enable debug mode to get more info about the database error?

I solved this by uninstalling and re-installing. Took about two minutes.

i have the same issue. nothing helped me. i tryed the instal.bak stuff and recognised that my "phocadownload" Tables are empty.
can anyone help me?

i am using joomla 1.6.3 and the latetest beta component and plugin versions.

What says the debug mode?
