Display category names in categories view

Hi there
I recently updated one of my websites to Joomla 3.4. I'm using Phoca Gallery on most of my sites so I thought I post my problem here. I have folloing problem:
The gallery with Joomla 2.5 used to look like this: http://www.igbonsai.ch/index.php/galerie
As you can see, I use subcategories and they are displayed as "Main Category" >> "Sub-Category"
On my updated site it looks like this: http://update.igbonsai.ch/index.php/galerie
The main category is not visible. I played around with the options, but I can't seem to figure it out. I don't care if the categories are displayed in one or several columns but the structure has to be correct.
Does anybody have a solution for this? Is there a work around or am I not using Phoca Gallery in the intended way?
