Phoca Nivo Slider Module

Hello!

I have problems viewing the Nivo Slider module on my joomla-Website.
The used template has a Nivo-Slideshow included by itself.
I installed the Phoca Nivo Slideshow module. That worked fine.
Now I tried to add a slideshow to an article by using the Content - Load module plugin. The borders of the slideshow are now displayed in the article but there are no pictures loaded. I only see a spinning donat, which tells me, that the pictures should be loaded.
I found the information that this is a problem caused by double using the Nivo slider.
But I did not get any information to solve this problem. Is there no way to include the slider into the template and additionally use it with Phoca?

Thanks for your help

Hi, this is common problem in large systems. When you use different extensions (module/plugin and the template) made by different developers then it can come to such conflicts - so in fact the only solution is to change one of the part - e.g. to load the library from the second extension - so they will be not in conflict - e.g. trying to use the template javascript library in the module - but it can be still in problem - if the javascript is one instance library, running it 2x on one page can be a problem which is not solvable

Yes I tried it as you described but until now without effect. I compared both jquery and nivo-slider-js-script files and recognized, that they completely differ. If I find some time, i'll try to merge both files.
