Hi,

Since edit cannot be done in the frontend, I was thinking to allow user to upload and edit in the backend.
However, once user accessed the backend, the category upload right is not applied anymore. The user can upload files to all categories eventhough by right he can only upload to 1 category...
Is this intended?

Hi, yes, access rights are set for frontend only. In backend, there are only two types of access - you can access the component or not.
