Phoca 4.1.1 Jommla 3.3 Image Not visible

I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled Phoca to try and fix this issue.
Basically:
I am able to create Categories, perform multiple uploads of images to folders, however the images will not display in the main control panel. I've ftp'd the folders to check the update was successful and the images have uploaded without a problem.
2 other possible symptoms I have noticed, the User Control link on the menu's does not work, and the gallery module does not display images within a category that has images within the category folder.
I hope I've given enough information for someone to try and help, this is a fresh installation and I've only been building the site in the last 24 hours.
