I've bought a joomla template, including Phocoguestbook.. After installing, everything worked fine. But now ive realised that the messages don't send anymore and after you press 'send', the message is gone and not published on the website.. What am i doing wrong? Please help!

Hi, which version of Phoca Guestbook you are running? Check the Phoca Guestbook Options, if there is set that added posts will be displayed in frontend.

There are two reasons (set it options) when the messages are not displayed:

- it is set that the message must be approved first
- it is set that Phoca Guestbook works like reporting component.

I have a similar problem. I use version 2.0.7.

The text is visible only in the administration but the page does not appear.

What could be the problem?

Hi,
I don´t know if I can add a website link so at least try to describe the behavior of the system.

The user fills in a questionnaire, enter a name email subject. . . enters text and send. Sending tests ok, but the messages that users write on the page displayed. They can be seen only in the administration => component => Phoca questbook,,.

Try to check the Options of Phoca Guestbook:

- if messages will be displayed after pasting them - (demand on approving by administrator)
- if the report function is not enabled (when report function is enabled, Phoca Guestbook works like report component and posts are not displayed in the frontend)

Right here was a mistake. Has been selected report. It's working.

Not a current one.. But most strings should be translated with his one:

Thank you very much, but I have Joomla 2.5 and this is for 1.7 But anyway thank you for your willingness

j1.6 & 1.7 translations will work with j2.5 & j3.x versions of Phoca Guestbook, but as I wrote above, not all strings will be translated, because not all features of j2.5 & j3.x versions of Phoca Guestbook was contained in the prior versions.
If you like, you can translate the missing strings by your self..
