I would like to have the text I put in the descriptionbox on the frontpage of my gallery, just under the title. Is this possible to do. I tried to change it in the configuration screen but no luck.

In which descriptionbox? The box of a category, or the box of each picture?

What layout are you using?
The description you add with a category appears when you select: category layout, or when you click on a category in a category list layout.

I used the layout category layout so only one category each page is visible.

you want to display the name and the description of a picture in each thumbnailbox, instead of the name only?

Yes that's the plan. I want to show some paintings and I put the sizes in the descreption box.

I'm afraid it's not possible out of the box, though you could search for adding breaks in names. There have been some topics about it.

I've searched for the breaking names on the forum but I couldn't find a topic about it.
