Hi all!

I know this topic has been discussed here before, but not enough to solve my problem:

In my gallery random thumbnails are not being displayed. Instead, "/media/com_phocagallery/images/phoca_thumb_s_no_image.png" is being displayed. When I reload the page, it is other random thumbnails.
In other discussions, the advice was to turn on "additional thumbnails". I did that, but it did not help. What is wrong here?

Hi, yes, this can be caused by not created additional thumbnails:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... parameters

As it does the problems randomly, this should really be the case of missing additional thumbnail - all the parameters needs to be enabled and thumbnails recreated.

Hi Guys

I'm getting the same thing...ie randomly appearing thumb nails.

I have recreated thumbnails etc and still having the same problem. Heaps of time lost here hope there is an answer?

What do you mean all parameters need to be enabled?

Were all the thumbnails created - include the additional? Try to see some thumbs folder in images/phocagallery/... folder if there are all types

What are the additional thumbs? and what types should there be?

I have upgraded from joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3 as Phoca Gallery failed "big time". I moved the Phoca folder from joomla 2.5 to the new joomla 3 site.
I also recreated the thumbs.

In Phoca Gallery 4, there is a new feature (does not need to be enabled) to display different sizes of thumbnails, see demo:
