Missing ACL features in administration

Again we´d like to use Phoca Download for a editor driven intranet site with different backend editors who have different roles and rights.

As far as I can see the possibilities to create a consistent backend acl solution for Phoca Download are zero at the moment. I can only set some global ACL rules for my editor groups and nothing else.

Example: Editor A is responsible for Download and Document area A. editor B is responsible for Download and Document area A. Editor A should not see and not bee able to access the documents of Editor B and vice versa.

Unfortunatly there are no options for stuff like that. All backend editors can see/edit/delete everything (or nothing). No advanced ACL options for files or categories (in the backend). No problems to set ACL for editors who work in the frontend but a big black hole for this part in the backend....

So my question is:

Are there any plans to introduce a more flexible ACL solutions for the backend that is consistent with the Joomla ACL?

Let me ask in a different way: Is there someone able and willing to modify Phoca Download admin area, so we would have consistant joomla acl features in the back end. We would pay for this feature, which is essential for us.
