I am still searching but so far I have not found what I want,

I want to be able to add the detail image name to the breadcrumb and also make the category breadcrumb value that already exists clickable to go back to the category view. Is there a way I can edit phoca templates to enable this please.

Hi, in every view: view.html.php

e.g. components/com_phocgallery/views/category/view.html.php

you can change the _prepareDocument() method where you can set own rules for breadcrumbs
