hi,
in your opinion, which is the best solution for mobile devices?
I like the boxplus on the pc (detail window) but I think this is not very good on the smartphone!
If you surf in the gallery with mobile devices (smartphone/tablet) I trid to set detail_window=7 (no popup) but this is not good, because I see only the picture.....

Hi, for mobiles, I think, the best solution is no popup - just displaying an image on the new site.

Hi, for this you need to customize the category view - to recognize the user device and then to switch to no popup.

yes... I found where to insert the device-check and setting, but the gallery has a different behavior! If I set by code the gallery switch to full screen.....

if I set $this->tmpl['detail_window'] = 7; (no popup) in components/com_phocagallery/views/category/view.html.php, I see this page....

Now I understand, so this is no popup view - displaying the detail not in popup but normally on the site. So this you should define in category view - if it is a mobile, then display "nopup" links, if this is not a mobile, a modal or other popup can be loaded. All the feature should be loaded in the category view as it creates link and link decides which method will be set.
